Sheremetyevo-Cargo had practice of handling of Sputnik V vaccine already. However, the shipment on March 4, 2021 has stood out by volume and by speed of handling operations undoubtedly.

First of all, we had to use whole Boeing 747-8F of our partners - AirBridge Cargo Airlines - for transportation of this shipment of Sputnik V vaccine.

But vaccine had to be delivered to the aircraft with the fixed temperature regime. Special trucks of Sheremetyevo-Cargo were involved for this task.

The objective control IT-systems which developed and implemented in our terminal were monitored of the temperature regime. Systems have received data from sensors throughout the handling process of the shipment.

The cargo was build-up in a specially area for this flight.

The representatives of Russian Direct Investment Fund and AirBridge Cargo airline have controlled of our handling operations directly.

We are glad that we were able to demonstrate to our partners the level of our terminal and to demonstrate the objective control IT-systems in action. We are glad to show a ramp part of cargo handling operations directly.
