Aviation security
Providing aviation security is one of the major activities in cargo and mail air transportation.
"Sheremetyevo-Cargo" has a valid Certificate on providing aviation security №FAVT.AB.033, issued by Transport security administartion of Federal agency of air transport.
Work scale (services) in accordance with Certificate:
- Oraganization and providing aviation security;
- Organization and performing pre-flight inspection of cargo and mail;
- Organization and providing guardance of company's territory and it's infrastructure objects;
- Organization and providing access to object, inner-object rules complience;
Providing aviation security in "Sheremetyevo-Cargo" is done by our department – Aviation Security Service. All staff members took training on providing aviation security and have valid certificates. Transport Aviation Security Service has it's own trained dogs, currently we have 10 trained dogs authorized for detecting explosive materials.
For pre-flight control of cargo and mail we use only certified equipment:
- X-rays: Hi-Scan and Astrophysics;
- Explosive materials detectors: Itemizer DX, Pilot-M;
- Flameable liquid detectors, radiation and gaz leakage detectors;
Company's territory is fully controlled by modern CCTV system. Unauthorized access to cargo is impossible on all handling stages. All terminal handling and storage zones controlled by CCTV-system, operating and recording 24 / 7.
"Sheremetyevo-Cargo" developed unique mobile video recorders, installed on equipment used for transferring cargo between terminal and airside. These devices provide real-time video stream and are integrated to company's general video survillence system, which allows to control cargo delivery process along the airside in real-time. Within all handling stages at "Sheremetyevo-Cargo" your cargo is safely protected.
Our company developed and implemented unique system of screened cargo and mail images storage got from X-ray machines. The database containing images is integrated with our warehouse system, this allows us to perform on-line control over quality of screening, and see images related to a particular AWB or flight.
All persons who deliver cargo to our warehouse are subject to registration in our system which has a function to record all aviation security issues which occur while working with this client.
